Switch height check problem (UDMF)

Post by Ceeb »

I have a simple question. There's a switch at the bottom of a long shaft in my mod here, and I put the Switch Height Check flag on it. The problem is that the player can press it even from the very top. :? The switch is set into the wall a bit, if that makes a difference.

Is there some trick to using this?

Can you send me the map so I can test it? Maybe it's just a bug with the feature.

Certainly. I've cut the map down to just the offending button though.

Fixed. The flag was completely ignored on one sided lines.

Ahh, so it'll work in the next version of G/ZDoom?

That's what I'm assuming. Nice work tracking down a bug, there. :P

I can break you just as easily. Don't get your hopes up just because I said something nice for once.

I think I'm justified in asking what the fuck are you talking about?

I apologise for bumping, but I seem to be having this problem in regards to a construction made largely from GZDoom 3D floors. Is there something I'm missing, or should I impose a simple ACS workaround?
