Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
well, you can maybe... MAYBE expect a clowny made by me for an addon. but im not sure if i bother to make it.
Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
clowny..i never knew how he attacked...it was pretty random XD or too dark to see
Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
You put a picture of a yurei in the interpic.
I hate you, Cutman. ;_;

Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
Er, I meant there would be a ghoul that looks like the medal, not the medal being replaced by a ghoul.CarThief wrote:Edit: If the medal idea is possible, best to use seems any ghoul that can, err, break apart, like Sjas, or for variation Eyesore.
In case a animated replacement file doesnt work, the medal could be replaced with void, then trigger a script.
And would it have to be different for humans as well, or plain use the old one? With more idea's, there certainly is more issues to tackle.

It'd be simple enough to reskin Choke or Sjas if one were so inclined, I imagine... but it was just a joke anyway

Oh dear. I was wondering where your maniacal scream came from when the round ended.Nash wrote:You put a picture of a yurei in the interpic.

So I'm getting better with the marine now, though it's a piss in the pain when I try and throw a 'nade and I get killed before I'm able to throw it.

Am I the only one though who is consistently never scared by the mod? I thought Choke was a little creepy in the first incarnation of the Ghoul series but not enough to cause a jump or anything. I do admit I get a little pissed when I get Creeper'd, but any screams that result are from anger rather than fear. ;P
Guess I'm a bit of a stoneface when it comes to scary-ness.

Doesn't stop it from being hella fun though. ;P

Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
The idea isn't to be scary. The idea is to be fun

Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
Creeper's scared me once or twice. And the only real fear I have now is with Jitter - he's the only ghoul that makes me go "OHFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK"

Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
To be perfectly honest, I do that too. Though it's usually more of an issue of "ARGH FREAKIN A I MISSED THE FREAKIN SKULL AGAIN ARGH *crunch* WALLHACKER WTF LAG" instead of actual scaryness. I need to work on my shotgunning a bit. ;PWills wrote:"OHFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK"
Now, playing against Cannibal in singleplayer? Now THAT is a scary proposition.

Hey, I feel better knowing I'm not the only crap-ass shotgunner now.Xaser wrote:To be perfectly honest, I do that too. Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
IMO The shotgun is much better and the MG for the marine..though i havn't been the marine for a while now (female cyborg voice fun).
I gotta say Cutty, this is pretty solid ..its well balanced...each side have a good brawl in Ms.A server
*SIDE NOTE*
Anyone else is having a crash issue??
MY computer freezes usually every 1-2 hour or so ,in a crowded server and everyone is chatting ,it hands and then i get a distorted screen saying there was an error. Reboot it its fine.
Still it's pretty annoying doing it 4 times a day.
My comp is pretty brand new xp2000

Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
Hey look, an update! Already! Beta 1.1 because of insignificant changes!
Figured I'd put a mark that says "beta" on the file name so that people won't think it's finished.
-Slighty (I litterly knocked off 0.05 from it) decrease running speed.
-Might've decreased lunging speed, although I might've increased it. I don't really know. Numberly speaking, I decreased it, but I combined the "chomp" frame with a "move" frame so I'm not so sure..
-Choke no longer goes unsolid when he teleports. Instead, he floor hugs. Allows teleporting to more radical heights, and should get rid of getting stuck in things.
So yeah.

Re: [RELEASED] Ghouls vs Humans
Not sure if this has been suggested, but I think a power up might be an interesting thing to have in a future expansion pack, which would have a different effect on each character. For the marine, it'd be a somewhat stereotypical thing... Drugs.
When the marine gets powered up, he can move faster, jump higher, fire his weapons faster, and throw grenades further. There is one disadvantage to this though. When the marine is drugged up, he can't keep his mouth shut. He'll constantly burst into fits of hysterical laughter, which would randomly turn into screams of rage and pain, and uncontrollable sobs, giving his position away.
The hunter would gain a scroll that would decay after a period of time that allows him to combine all of his enchantment spells into an arrow. The arrow would be surrounded by a massive balls of ice that wouldn't just shatter when it hits enemies though. It would go straight through them, doing damage as it does so, which means the bigger the ghoul, the more damage they take. When the arrow finally hits a wall or the ground, it creates a large explosion that sends shock waves out, damaging anything that gets caught in it and throwing them back quite a ways. Lightning shoots out from the explosion in random directions, doing a massive amount of damage to anything that it hits. The main catch is that this would take a while to charge up. After your character loads the arrow onto the bow, he needs to wait a few seconds while the arrow is charged with the magical energies. In other words, if there's a ghoul chasing you, it's best to just switch back to your standard lightning, ice, fire, normal arrows instead otherwise you're pretty much screwed. There's also a cool down time afterward too so you really need to make that shot count. Another minor side effect is that the shock wave generated from the explosion could potentially push ghouls right into you.
The cyborg would basically get a bit of a temporary tune up. For a short period of time, his shots travel a lot faster, making distant enemies much easier to hit and his ammo supply is doubled. In addition, he gains a second weapon, which is kind of like the BFG2074. When the trigger is pulled, the weapon makes a quiet beeping noise, and then unleashes a massive barrage of 30 plasma rounds that fire off in a wide spread that insures that anything in front of you is in deep shit. The drawback to this power up is that it's more of a trade off. You get a second devastating weapon for a short period of time, but in exchange you lose your jetpack until the power up wears off. Another problem is with the beeping noise it makes. Although it's pretty quiet, nearby ghouls can still hear the sound it makes and take cover before the barrage starts. The weapon also overheats after being used, which does 5-8 damage to the cyborg and renders his weapons useless for a few seconds.
The creeper would basically go into a feeding frenzy. His movement speed is doubled, his health goes up to 130, and he lets out a blood thirsty scream as he moves. His attack is no longer instantly kills enemies. Instead, he attempts to rip them to shreds with his claws. He attacks with an almost impossible speed (think just slightly slower then choke) and does 20-30 damage with each swipe.
I'm not too sure about Sjas or Jitterskull though.
