Wow, those are awesome, icky textures. Keep it up, those are great! I would really love to include the enemies from this in ZDoom Wars.

Whoa that's some psychedelic sh*t you got there!
The only thing that bothers me is the perspective of the first weapon (the blue one), because now it looks like it's pointing directly to the roof but heck it's still pretty impressive.

Awesome textures. Staring at the textures for too long is making me feel dizzy.

Unique monster behaviors? Incredibly unique art style? Unorthodox weapons? Yeah, I think I'm in love.

Re: [WIP] Space Coffin
I appreciate the good comments.
So i've done quite a few digital paintings since I started this and I've realized that images come out a lot sharper when using higher hardness levels with your brushes. All the images I put up here were using around 0 to 25% hardness, the reason they might look a little soft. So I'll probably go back and sharpen them all some.
To whomever offered to do ACS for me, I have something I need. Credit will be given of course.
The bubbler weapon discharges a floating bubble that just floats wherever you place it. It waits for an enemy to get within a certain range of it (say 256 in grid units, doesn't really matter I'll adjust it), then fires itself towards that enemy. I don't even know if this is possible to do (detect the closest enemy), but if anyone thinks they can help me out with that I'd just be tickled pink.
I wouldn't even worry about making the bubble discharge from the weapon and all, just make a bubble actor type and spawn them into the map manually to test it. (I used the cacodemons fireball for the bubble) I can copy the code into mine and make it work.

well i think jsut shading you know to make it "pop" out or round...just basic here and there darken tool in PS i do it alot for my drawings just a wee bit when i cant get it right
btw i forgot to mention ...well obviously its epic, but i want to say something diff
the monster style reminds me of those short "funny scary" stories and had those kinda of style pics...damn the title escape me...but it was black and front page had a pic of a huge head floating attached to a body ...dead or skeleton i think....anyone knows what im talking about??
Scary Stories to tell in the Dark!!!! thats it! here is a sample (hope no1 gets nightmares lol)

its creative and freaky..like im in a childs/preteen/nightmare vision of hell or the monster world under your bed...boogie man

Re: [WIP] Space Coffin
That is one of my favorite books ever. The image of the chubby woman leaning over (combined with the story behind it) scared me so much. I doubt you'd see a book like that be as big a success now adays.
Re: [WIP] Space Coffin
That is true...it was epic
i was scared under my sheets that i had a *cough nightlight for a long time cough* it was like you want to scare yourself but hated it..n enjoyed it lol
i found the che-wa-wa story kinda funny though...the spider freakked me out...and when i get spider bits and it puffs im like omg no!!! lol
so im i correct if these picture in these books and the style inspired you to make this mod???

Not these images in particular. I'm just into dark horror stuff. The more disturbing and demented the better.

Well, I am seriously awaiting a tech-demo or something, to better see this stuff in motion. It'll look fantastically trippy. Truly, a TC of this would be magnificent, especially since you've shown creativity in enemy behaviors (The slop).

Re: [WIP] Space Coffin
There's not really much to show right now. I haven't even finished the code for the weapons and hardly any monsters yet.
Re: [WIP] Space Coffin

btw, how the heck you got the colors so well in these pics if you draw them...i have some stuff to but it nevers comes out right in the scanner...

Re: [WIP] Space Coffin
I draw them on the computer in photoshop. The only things I drew on paper so far are the ammo graphics, which I scanned then painted over.
