Faster reload?

Post by Nerdking13 »

I was working on a realistic shotgun that reloads when it is out of shells. Just then I realized a major flaw.
In the heat of battle, this reloading may be too slow. But what if you were to press the fire button really fast to make it go faster?
hmm.. it's a good idea but I can't quite get the code right!!!!
yay shotgun!!!
:shotty:
I need some help with the code.
please?!

ok, I swore I was going to give up on you, but I need to say this:

Do you want us to make a totally new -made from scratch- code to work as you want? come on.
Sure I'd like to help if i can, but the lack of details (or code in this case), makes it impossible.

check this, i dont know, but it might help you.

(or the easiest solution, make the animations of your shotgun go faster :P )

Whatever happened to recycling your thread instead of making more and more of them?
Not to mention your attitude of "I know everything" makes you even less wanted. Please, if you want some help, show that you're not a know-it-all and also give us plenty of details.

"Give code or GTFO" seems to come to mind.

Yeah, this is possible, but honestly I think it's silly so I'm not gonna churn out code. To give you a hint though, try using A_WeaponReady and custom inventory items. It would be complicated, really complicated, but possible.

Actually, I just realized what he really meant.

You're not going to achieve anything by begging around. Do some work on your own, you slob. I wouldn't have otherwise achieved even at least minor infamy regarding an old mod (DES, anyone?), or be able to make modifications at all, if I didn't do these kind of things my own.
And if you're going to pull out the lame ass syndrome excuse, then we'll just leave you to rot in your own corner.

Obviously I am not wanted here. I will never use zdoom again. your emails will
be reported as spam, and I will UNINSTALL zdoom.
Goodbye forever, forums.

You could have prevented this. It's a very sick thing to make a small child cry.

Sounds like putting him on the ignore list after the 2nd or 3rd post of his that I read was completely the right thing to do.

which emails are you talking about?

heh, if i get really pissed with people in a forum, I could indeed stop posting, leaving it forever. But i dont see the logic in "i will never use zdoom again" and "I will UNINSTALL zdoom". I guess he thinks that uninstalling/never-using it, he'll be couterattacking.
