Excellent work, NecromANGEL. Once preview is implemented, I will start using this over XWE for standard Doom operations. Just one thing - do you plan to implement window resizing? I find that a window that small (on an 1152x864 desktop) makes it more difficult than nessecary to work with large amounts of lumps.

It can be resizr, cannot it? It does not have "Maximize" button, but you can resize it by taking it for corner or side...

Here comes version 0.0.2 :) Now it can:

- detect text lumps (by absence of non-printable character)
- detect flat/ceiling lumps (by f_start)
- detect PNG lumps (by 8-byte header)
- preview raw, text and PNG lumps
- preview flat/ceiling and wall/sprite lumps in DooM palette and export them as PNG files
- remember window's size (window is centered at startup)
- open files, passed with command line
- export selected group of lumps to external WAD
- edit text lumps on-the-fly ^__^
- remove path to wad file if it does not fil title window. You can seee path if you hold cursor over it's button for a few seconds until hint box appears.
that's all I can remember by now `^_^

Now I'm working on errors that happen because of wrong lump type given and on maps preview.

You do realize you could've just deleted the second post rather than editing the first one, right? oh well, too late now.

As long as your post is the last in a thread, you'll see a little X button at the top-right corner. Click it to delete the post entirely.

Pff. It's 9:20 in England, unless my watch is horribly malformed/off-time :) .

Nice :D No more wintex :P Altough, I'd like to see some sort of content filter, like if you hit sprites, it filters out anything that isnt a sprite, or something like that :P

Yep, I agree with Zell. Filter buttons for sprites, flats/ceilings, text lumps, map data (also known as "other"), sounds, and music should do the trick.

Although right now, this editor can still easily replace both WinTex and XWE! Thanks again NecromANGEL!
