DAMMIT and I was going to do that vocoder effect too! WAH!

Oh well.

Since I don't have any working microphones (double DAMMIT) I guess I can't contribute. :(

Xaser wrote:And Shinjanji: That effect is actually quite perfect, I say. If I were to send you a few more lines later, would you do them in the same way? Works pretty well, really. :P
Sure. Since I saved the sounds and vocoder settings I used in FL Studio, making more lines is a simple matter of recording new lines and throwing in some noise removal

Right after I recorded that line, I recorded a few lines that I used for system sounds (like "DEVICE DISCONNECTED" etc)

(EDIT: Why does it seem like the things I create when I'm really bored turn out better than the things I sit down and try to make? (Cases: the bloodsphere throwing hand in Zen Dynamics, this)

Shin: Hehe, why do things aleays work that way? Zen Dynamics itself was a product of sheer boredom that actually grew. Death to Chainsaws was originally a WTF-style "comic" I created out of sheer boredom, and the idea stuck enough for me to try and make a doom conversion out of it. While I admit the game is going to be MUCH different than the comic (thankfully!), I need to scan and upload the comic somewhere so you guys can see for yourself! :P

Anyway, about recent auditions... Bashe now has a part and Travis is guaranteed one (although I haven't decided which one yet :P ). Marty's audition was good, too, and I really liked that Killtron voice in particular. However, since I already decided on a Killtron voice, what could I do? Well, check this out. I combined Shin's and Marty's parts together and got a really neat sound. If I were to do all the lines this way, would anyone complain? :P

lol, everyone at my house was sleeping :P I had to keep it on the down-low. I could record another line in my normal voice if needed!

I like the combination, but it's really hard to understand the last part of the line.

Are voice parts still open? I'd love to contribute if they are.

Can I be a super loud annoying guy with a bad microphone so there's lot of annoying loud static in the backround too? Cause while I don't have a bad mic, I can edit it, and it is just for the lulz.
