a wad movie file

ok i tryed playmovie , playdemo , load. is there a command i can't find on the documentaion some where that lets me watch wad files there is this wad file some guy made as a movie and i want to watch it. please help.

the solution is really simple it is really you just load the wad file and start a new game thats usually how it works, depends really. what is it impencse maybe you dirty pig he he he. or maby not but still playdemo is for real demos not scripted maps okay! you're welcome

it is a wad file and i tryed loading it it wont work and also the auto detect on zdoom doesnt find it i also tryed loading it manualy i tryed ( -iwad name.wad ) and ( -file name.wad )

Absolutely. Just load the file, start a game and watch. It should run automatically.

However, I think there may have been a problem with some versions of Zdoom. I know that, for a while at least, the movie broke half way through with some versions of Zdoom. I don't know if that has been resolved or not.

So, just drag the file onto the zdoom icon, start a game and sit back with a packet of kleenex* handy.

dood if i wanted to fap i'd look at real porn, i just want to get a good kick out of this my buddy said its the funnyest thing he ever saw and besides it didn't work i tryed draggin i tryed changemap and it wont auto detect? i have zdoom 2.1.7.

However, there is one essential piece of information I forgot (though it is mentioned in the text file). It is not map01 but map25. So, start a game and use idclev25 to get there, or map map25 at the console or add -warp 25 to the command line.

ok i did that it brings me to bloodfalls map, and i can run around and shoot mob's, could the fact that i have windows vista ultimate effect the wad in any way?

Vista shouldn't affect your wad.

Well, for what ever reason, the WAD isn't loading. When you start the game, drop down the console and see which WADs are loaded (by scrolling up to the bit that tells you using PageUp). Vista should not cause this problem.

Seriously, there is nothing unusual about this WAD (as far as loading it goes). You just add it to the command line like you would any other pwad (or use any of the other methods of loading a WAD) then go to the level it replaces.

Maybe you should try a WAD launcher. I recommend ZDL 3.1
