Eternal corpses and bullets holes.

I have bneen playing recently, Alien Vendette, on ultraviolence with faster monster/monster respanw enabled. [oh, don't worry, i have my repeating railgun :)] and i noticed when i clear a room out, leave, come back, kill the respawned monster, the corpse number stays the same.

Do monster have unique ID's or something so that when a monster respawns it reuses the body or something of a previously slaine coprse?

If not, how can i make corpses and bullet holes stay forever?

Decals (the bullet holes) have a certain limit though. I think the console command to change the limit is cl_maxdecals so try making that a higher number.

As far as corpses go, you can't.

Well, with corpses, i used to see them forever. I would litterally have a sea of dead bodies...where i couldn't see so much as a pixel of the floow..now, there are hardly any...did they tone it down some in latrest release?

When a monster respawns, the corpse disappears so the corpse count won't stack.

Well, it doesn't help much, i can kill every single monster on a certain map 4-5 times, and my kills always locks at 77%.

Also, can that be disabled?

When a monster respawns, the total amount of monsters gets added. So let's say there are 10 monsters in a map. When you kill one, your kills show 1/10. When that monster respawns, the kill count shows 1/11.

No, you can't disable that.

You could make them drop fake corpses using DECORATE.
