How about we wait until we're ready? :P

@T-1: I'll leave that for now. I want to get my xmas map done before getting gonig with this.

@prdarkfox: Back when I first joined up, there was no need to prove yourself. Al lyou have to do is do what you say you'll do, and you're in.

Okay, I'm ready with a somewhat more reliable Internet ISP, I believe I can do some mapping and some minimal ACS scripting for the project. Now the only problem is... what.

Well, when I'm done with my christmas map, I'll get down to business and check out the map again, searching through it all and finding everything I consider worthy. Alternatively, I could find the post eariler in the thread that consists of both mine and Talonos' job lists.

The end result will be a list of things you can sign up to do. Sit tight for now.

Right, I'm done with my christmas map, and this is next (alongside my CC3 map). So, my question to you - who's with me?

Are we going to get it done this time? I sure hope so. I've got a list of stuff that I found back when we were at work. However, there is something we kind of need first. An ftp or somewhere to download and upload our work. I have the necessary wads and files (changelog, walkthrough (in need of an update, most likely), resources, map wad, to do list), and I know what I've found for people to do (theres a lot).

Once I've got some confirmation of whos with me and a potential dev server, I'll start a new thread listing out what needs doing, as this pheonix team thread is pretty huge now, and even though I can mess around with the front page if I want, I won't.

If you ask Grubber or NMN nicely enough, they'll lend you space for it on the drdteam server

And they are a very reliable solution too. I think I may go and do that.

I'm still around, on and off, so I might be able to contribute some efforts.

Maybe this would be useful...see on page 69 of this thread where I listed all of the current tag numbers, script numbers associated with lines, etc. I could do this again at some point as a reference to help people keep clear of numbering conflicts.

Maybe the listing on page 69 is up-to-date enough to serve for now, but once the files get posted somewhere I'll do a compare.

Heh, every time this project tries to get back together the people that work on it slack off on it..We should at least try to revive it. :P

Glad to hear that you're still about and ready Biff, a lot of what you did last time around was desperately needed.

@KoF: Is that a "I'll join and help, and not slack off" I just heard? ;)

If things are going the way KoF says, you guys should really let this die out. Feels like dragging a dead horse to do it's job over and over again. :?

Oh ye of little faith :P

Trust me, this will be finished one day, even if I just have to ask the community for a general permission to do it myself.

ZDCMP2 :p

I have some good news. Grubber has quite kindly allowed us some ftp space. I need to be sure of a team now, as I'll need to PM the username and password to those who're willing to work on it.
