Barrels don't seem to have an explosion sound, and the rocket explosion sound is very quiet.

Sometimes the minigun fires immediately, without a spin-up time, usually after switching to it from another weapon or after reloading; I'm not able to do it consistently. I'm not complaining, though! :Þ

TDA is right, the shotgun guys are really nasty. It often seems as if their shotgun is more accurate than the player's own.

Other than those little issues, I love it, can't wait to see more! :D
good points, the plasma rifle's glow has been brought up, but there is no way to fix it that i know of. i will look into the explosion sounds. the minigun firing immediately sometimes has happened to me ever since i first put it in, i haven't quite figured out what causes it as it happens randomly.

working on the zombies as we speak, but probably won't have a balanced version until this weekend. :)

thanks for all the comments, i aim to please!

The Chaingun Zombies can be rather nasty sometimes also. I would probaly reduce their rate of fire just a tad.

i must say, the auto shotgun is great, but the plasma gun sounds could have stayed the same *but i can alter that myself*

but toning down the chaingun dudes just a bit would be great, but either case they do provide a challenge

now a question on the side, if i get the sprites ready for a powerbomb launcher in my Metroid Doom Project would you be able to do the decorate for me?

mostly because i need some BFG spray effect on the power bomb

in the version i have sitting on my computer, i have balanced the zombie guys and stuff a bit. i'm still playtesting it with my friend to see how it ends up in the long run. lol @ the plasma rifle sounds. blargh! i'll never find a sound set everyone is happy with. somebody help me out! and not the doom 64 sound set.

as for the powerbomb launcher, i'm not entirely sure what you mean by bfg spray effect. everybody dies when it goes off? or...?

I think he's referring to how the bfg causes the traces of damage after the ball goes off.

its like an explosion, but it does not harm the user of the weapon

cool

http://www.mooload.com/new/file.php?fil ... prites.zip

the only thing it does not have is a big yellow flash death kind of thing, if youv'e played metroid and used the power bombs you know what im talking about

it should be simple, i just dont know what scale your going to do with it, but the launcher should act like a grenade launcher

thanxs, if you get around to it and do it just post it in the Metroid Mod thread

thanxs again, and im in no particular hurry for it, seeing as i need to either find good ridley sprites from MZM or try to repair the ones from the shyguy kingdom... ill probably do that latter and make 3 different ridley bosses

one for each skill level

thanks a lot! i appreciate that, i work on this as often as i have time, as my brother and i play it constantly. lol.

as far as the next update, i have some interesting things i'm experimenting with. i want to make this mod as coop friendly as possible, so i'm thinking of adding features that can enhance it. such as being able to drop ammo and stuff. suggestions are welcome!
