Tree prefab

Post by Cutmanmike »

I'm going to try to make a new mod, sorta like the ghoul's forest but better. I need a half decent tree to copy and paste around though, so has anyone got a decent looking doom tree? (Not a sprite)

There was one in ZDCMP1. In Enjay's outside area by the fountain, IIRC. :yup:

Um, that's my area and also the same tree I was talking about.
Watch the (very crappy) credits.

Indeed it is. My sewer area starts in the building just beyond that, but Bio's very cool base is everything from the key-door to the drop into the sewer IIRC (which, of course, includes the little gardens with the trees).

LWM made a very large tree from a combination of sectors, texture branches and floating bridge objects in her Lywren mod.

Actually, the little "gatehouse" with the sewer entrance is yours (it even has your "logo" which I think is confusing people) and the little cave thing that connects back to the fountain is Grubber's.
The building part and the gardens of that area are mine.

Yeah, I remembered that the cave was Grubber's (although I didn't say so explicitly). I'd forgotten that I'd done the gatehouse though. I remember now, however, trying to make it match in with the style of your area. Not convinced how well I got it though. As you know, I thought the look of your area was great. :yup:

Um, just make a square column for the "trunk" and an octagonal sector around that for the "leaves". Instant crappy-looking trees. :)
