Oh, and um... I just noticed a really [censored word] mistake in my map. It has been fixed now, though.

Hey, Timberwolf... when you're done "modifying" my map, I would like to see it.

Nice job on the updates. It could use a little more lighting variation though; for example, make the light level in the hallways lower and put overhead lights/skylights in the actual rooms to make those larger rooms naturally lighter. One more thing, if you use something like COMPSTA1 or 2 and surround them by something like DOORSTOP, offset them so the computer textures don't get cut off, like this (by the picture I mean what to do :)):

Okay, I've updated my map some more. Now, I have a bit more detail, some of the existing details look better, and I have an area where a light fused, for light variation. And I've added a spark script to add to that.

[EDIT]And cccp, I'd appreciate it if you didn't take such big screenshots. I have to scroll to the side to read your whole post now.[/EDIT]

I completed the level in 4 tries.

First time I died because I wanted to explore the pit. Turned out to have nukage at the bottom. Second time I died because I wasn't very good at jumping, and fell into the same pit.

Third time I got stuck, since the elevator I used before couldn't be reactivated after I jumped down from the catwalk. I couldn't find any alternate route, so eventually I went back to the pit and drowned myself. Yep, that pit grows on you.

Fourth time was a success. Here's the demos (2 tries in gestix02). I couldn't find any of the secrets, though.

I liked the sparking, noisy light btw :)

But yes, the opponents were extremely easy on skill 4. Personally I wouldn't mind if the difficulty level was a lot higher, even if you do have 50 maps. I'd find the map a lot more exciting with more enemies.

By the way, I liked the underwater area with the demons. But perhaps the "water" should have another look. The brown stuff is usually acid, I think.

It's really cool you can have deep water with ZDoom. I'm definetly going to use this in one of my maps. I'll definetly have zombies walking around under the water at least once, Pirates of the Carribean style :)

Hm, well the idea of the slime place was to be a waste disposal area. The idea I had was that in the first part of it, you can jump up and catch a breath of air, but in the second part, it's too deep. So you drown and die.

Oh and um... nice demo(s). You made it through UV hardly getting scratched.

But um... just so's ya know... you started checking the computers too late in the map. If you want a secret, it's earlier. Aaaand, generally if you're playing one of my maps, it isn't a switch unless it's a switch texture.

And,

You're saying it wasn't a blood-and-guts-up-to-the-knees-fragfest on UV?
OK, for people who like UV to be a blood-and-guts-up-to-the-waist-fragfest, I will probably add a baron of hell that teleports behind you in the second-to-last-room (the moral of the story is, be careful what you wish for). Actually, wait, that would be dumb. What I might actually do, though, is add a cacodemon to the slime room (please note that this will only be applied to UV), maybe replace a few zombiemen with imps... blah blah blah...

PS, what did you actually think of my map in general, Ix? Was it enjoyable? Was there enough detail? Blah blah blah?

Exactly :)

No problem, you can just run into the next room and shoot him from inside (I think the door is too low for him to enter). Or, you can just flip the exit switch instead of wasting ammo on him :)

I'll try to make a nitpick demo in the spirit of Ultra Violet later today.
