If you're only 11 years old then you probably shouldn't even be on these forums, since I rather doubt they comply with the COPPA and equivalent laws in other countries - Randy Heit could thereotically get into legal trouble if you were allowed to stay here. I'm afraid you really shouldn't be playing Doom either.

Doom's comparitively tame. I played when I was nine.

I played Doom since I was like 5!

my 1st maps sucked, all they were was a bunch of cyberdemons, and gore placements. lol

ive played it all my life, nearly! i was born 1992 whenever it came out my dad use to play it, apparently ultimate doom was best game of all time

Doom was back in the day where "offensive content" wasn't that bad. I remember laughing at the "Blood and gore " in mortal combat one.

Nowdays, there are some games rated T that I wouldn't touch, because they've gone too far.

Heh, I remember getting the shareware of Doom, and then Heretic sometime after that. The big thing I remember about Heretic back then was the label the displayed the level of blood and gore during the demos. I never understood what it meant
