a cylindrical thing with a nonworking chaingun looking thing on the front that scoots around on a patrol route, "skews" up and down slopes, and gets its front-facing direction all muddled after a bit. :thumb:

at some point i made it so it keeps its form going up slopes but it only worked one way, either up or down, not both. ah well. it was fun to make and neat to watch :)

Is this a voxel model or something?

fake voxels. little vertical slices of texture (sprites) smushed together. whole idea actually isn't that practical, as they're not intuitive to make nor deal with. but i enjoy seeing the results, even if i don't use em for much.

Eh... something is wrong with it I think. It used to run pretty well, now it just slows to crawl a lot... if I close everything tho stuff runs alright. I have no spyware or anything so I'm guess it's just cause it's so old.

It's okay, I'll get my computer parts soon to build my AMD supercomputer. :D

Okay, this isn't voxels, but it's close. Doesn't this look better than a sprite?
Even IF it's all blocky?

I still prefer sprites, but I´ve to admit that looks quite nice!
Did you make this out of sectors?

Yep.
And the green glass.
And the lamp.

I think it looks cooler than some fancy shmancy MD2 models in OpenGL anyhow. :P
