Ecwolf Nightmare3d and WDC

Post by Space111 »

:?: Hey I’m using the application WDC and am working on creating a Nightmare 3D map. I have created a map but can’t get it to run with ECWolf. The error says no player 1 start but there is a player 1 start. Does anyone have a lot of knowledge working with Nightmare 3D and ecwolf?

Given ECWolf doesn't support Nightmare 3D (it's not a Wolfenstein 3D engine game), I'm not sure why you'd be trying to load a Nightmare 3D map with it?

I've never heard of anyone modding that game.

So it is possible. Still, I doubt WDC supports it out of the box.

From the link that Space111 edited into an earlier post (which I only just approved, so you might not have seen it):
WDC can edit the maps for the following games. However, in order to do so, the maps must be imported into Wolfenstein 3D maps and the exported to the correct format.

Nitemare 3D Trilogy
So, it can do it, but not "out of the box" as such.

I don't think anyone who frequents the forum really deals with this subject on the regular.
