Say hello to my first two wads, which I have finally decided that I may as well release. One of one of my brother's characters that I made for his birthday, and the other is just an Avali one that I got inspired to make by a webcomic.
Requirements: Zdoom-based sourceport. (GZdoom is reccomended, tested in GZDoom 4.8.2)(There's also a zdaemon-compatable version of one of the wads)
Features:
Bad art made in paint.net on a mouse!
Gimmicky weapons that should hopefully change things up in a meaningful way!
Weapons that are just reskins!
Jank!
New HUD graphics and sounds!
Lucia's weapons: They're all gloves.
Claws: Barely modified fists. They make an annoying noise.
Chainsaw: It's just the chainsaw. With some gloves, too. You need to put on the gloves to use the chainsaw. Because magic, or something.
Star gloves: Shoots large projectiles. Very ammo efficient, and reasonably powerful, but travel time is slow, and they can get caught on things. There is also some spash damage, but only a little bit. They also produce quite a bit of light (In GZdoom), which can be occasionally useful.
Light Flash gloves/Heavy Light Flash gloves: Shotgun and Super shotgun reskins respectively. These are your only normal hitscan options, use them well.
Star Storm gloves: Projectile spam. Much less efficient than the light gloves, many of your shots will be wasted unless you are at close range due to the very low accuracy.
Fire Blast gloves: Just a rocket launcher reskin.
Super Laser gloves: Projectile spam: The sequel, now with accuracy! Fires extremely fast, making it very powerful, but combined with the long wind-up time, it is very easy to waste ammo with this weapon.
BFGloves: BFG reskin
Avali's weapons: All from the Starbound mod of the same name.
Claws: Also barely modified fists. At least they don't make an annoying noise this time.
Dire Shard: An areogel Longsword. Faster, and MUCH more powerful than just claws, this blade is also... Very fragile, and prone to shattering. At least the debris are also sharp. Thankfully the hilt is able to forge a new blade on the spot, a long as you have the materials. (Secondary fire or reload) If not, well it's still better than your fists, probably.
Frostbite: The pistol, but even worse. There is a delay before it fires. Have fun.
Blizzard: A direct upgrade to the pistol, it fires much faster. There is still a delay, but this weapon has the least of any gun here. It is almost fast enough to reliably stunlock, but not quite.
Hailstorm: The fastest weapon in your arsenal, however, it is difficult to accurately aim, and you will need to wait for it's barrels to spin up before you can fire, and wait for them to slow down after you've finished firing.
Firelance: The iconic Avali weapon, a superheated railgun. This weapon is very powerful, and will pierce through enemies. However, the rails are very heavy, and you will only be able to carry so much ammo for it.
Lancer: A high-tech bow and arrow, that manufactures the arrows from areogel as you fire. The arrows also leave behind sharp debris, and if you release at just the right time, the arrow is energised.
BFG9000: It's the BFG again, not even a reskin this time. Straight-up zero modifications.

Issues:
Some weapons will get cut off if you don't play with a full HUD and the original aspect ratio. Deal with it.
Avali breaks map scripting sometimes???
Some sounds are too quiet, or too loud
rails get stuck floating sometimes, especially when fighting the revenant.
Avali smollness nerfs the revenant.
Credits:
Lucia sounds taken from freesounds.org, Touhou Doom(Or, just Touhou, I guess), and some third source I don't remember. (the stock cat yowl sound effect)
Avali Weapon world sprites were taken right from the starbound mod.
Avali sounds taken from Starbound, and the Avali Starbound mod.
Coding "Help" from Russian Overkill, and GMOTA 1.4 (I didn't actually copy paste anything.
ZDaemon-compatible version of Lucia made by Dear-Opossum on ZDaemon
Tools used: Whacked, Paint.net, Slade, Audacity, Asset_Unpacker(From starbound)

Re: Crappy Furry gameplay mod double feature! (Lucia.wad & Avali.wad)
Update to Avali.wad:
STFSTL and STFSTR Now actually fit inside the box. In addition, there have been some balance adjustments to the Lancer and Dire shard.
Also, Compatibility is hopefully improved, but still no Zandronium support. I thought I would be in the clear if I used DECORATE, but apparently not.
