I like some of the sprite heaps you have put here, but I think this one could heavily benefit from more indications of motion on the axe. though not necessarily like this; additional angles of axe so that the arm motions could be more consistent on each angle might be better but that is of course more difficult and I was only looking to fiddle very briefly!

Well, here's more progress on my little experiment from before...


Vastly reduced the artifacting, though there's still some left to remove. This tyrant should be ready soon.
