Alright, finally. The railgun from Alien Swarm, now in glorious first person after some heavy editing on my part cause the original render was almost fullbright and didn't have any shaders so it sucked ass. Complete with front glow fade, a funky zappy muzzlespark, and handless frames for good measure.

Hello, I- *briefcase falls open to reveal yet another pile of pickup sprites*

Some reworked old stuff, and some new stuff.
I tend to draw a lot of medkits, is it maybe Freudian? A tacit cry for help, or am I just really bad at dodging fireballs? (though I guess if it was some sort of subconscious thing about how the world is terrible and trying to hurt me, I'd probably just draw radsuits?)
You'll have to do some cut and pasting if you want a specific version of the M1897.
The "tankhammer" is theoretically safe if you use an HEAT warhead. Just trust me on this.
It's says "you're valid" in the middle, because there was an awkward empty space I wasn't too sure what to do with, so I thought "what would I like to find here?" and did that.

I have something to show you guys.

I want to thank ChopBlock223 for putting this together. And credits of course to him and VriskaSerket, Mike12, Nosehair26, iD Software, 3D Realms as well for all the elements needed to bring this thing to life.

The reason I'm showing it to you is because he has his own things to worry about, and real life comes first. So, if you want to thank someone, thank him for his spriting work.

I wanted to share it on behalf of ChopBlock223, who assembled it, I requested it to him. But yeah, it looks cool.

I personally like seeing the 6-7-8 angles being implemented in reskinned graphics!

I probably did not need to make the front flop after I made the side flop but I did, cannot change that I did and will use it.

There's not a lot of people that use the additional rotation slots. I mostly see people do things in just 5 slots and make the engine do "mirroring" for the remaining angles.

it is "death" as the game understands it, yes, although some of the monsters can be knocked down prematurely if hit a certain way and may try to get back up.
Without bloody dismemberment I feared the defeating seems too boring unless there is more going on. I will probably make a melting sequence also, which won't be as feasible to draw from additional angles! UNLESS I do it mostly with fragment tossing
the forward flop can be mirrored, but the slide flop would look quite bad! Or at least the body would, since you probably can't walk around it as it is flopping unless you turn on freeze mode. This wasn't well thought out! I don't like to stop things that I have already started even if they are dubious uses of time.
