Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Going to eventually finish this.
Probably going to make a full 40k mod around it.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Really wondered why no one ever made Cobra Assault Cannon sprite for doom. Or maybe i watched too much of Robocop highlights.

I'd buy that for a dollar! Jokes aside, it is really neat to see an iconic gun from an iconic film. Wish there are more around (besides Aliens and whatnot).Captain J wrote:Really wondered why no one ever made Cobra Assault Cannon sprite for doom. Or maybe i watched too much of Robocop highlights. EDIT: Maybe there is a (centered) sprite for the Kobra Assault Cannon, from the Robocop TC.

Kewl, now all we need is the rest of Robo's arsenal. His pistol, data spike, machinegun/flamethrower attachment and all the weird crap he had in the TV series.Captain J wrote:Really wondered why no one ever made Cobra Assault Cannon sprite for doom. WANT. One question I do have - unless the player is also a (40k) Space Marine, wouldn't an Astartes be at least the size of a Hell Noble?Mooney wrote:Going to eventually finish this. Probably going to make a full 40k mod around it.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The player is indeed a space marine, but mainly its just easier to make an astartes from an acolyte then anything baron sizedTheRailgunner wrote:WANT. Heh i really love that duke banner!
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
There is. I didn't put the scope in cos it'd get in the way. In the TC it uses the actual sound from the movie as well.TheNightATK300 wrote:I'd buy that for a dollar! The pickup sprite is based on something by DemoTheMan but I don't remember if he did the gun sprite as well.

My take on M56 Smartgun. Hope it works just like in the movie!

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
While it does look very nice, the hand on the centered variant looks weird imo.
Can't really explain how, but it just looks weird to me.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Use the straight arm sprite on the centered variant, and maybe try this old sprite of mine good the angled one?

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
It doesn't look bad, actually! But i think the hand part is a bit too small for the handle.
EDIT:
EDIT:
Not saying that the space marine sprite should be this big, but it gave me the idea and made this! Hope you're okay with this.Mooney wrote:Probably going to make a full 40k mod around it.
