Seriously, where are the sprites for this monster? I know they're in there somewhere, I remember them being in the game. Hell Knights are there, but not a single Baron sprite. Even the Hellknight sprites are using the "BOSS" name, as if they are the Baron.
Are they coded to just display at a different palette with different behaviour for Barons or am I missing something?

They're just a palette swap to save on ROM space, since cartridges were very expensive to manufacture compared to CD-ROMs and they only got moreso the more space was needed. Shotgun Guys, Spectres and Nightmare Imps are a similar situation.

IIRC Doom 64 Retribution has them already palswapped if you need them
