Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Not what I last did, but...
Some time ago I realized how cringy I acted here and in other places. I also noticed when I could finally come back here that I was sorta less cringy than before.
Those who say people never change are really, really wrong.
I also noticed how much of an annoying, stupid cunt I am/can be. :\

This is true, but there are a LOT of factors that go into that. I don't think much of anyone is the same person they were 5 to 10 years ago, though.phantombeta wrote:Those who say people never change are really, really wrong.

I like to believe people can change for the better if they know what needs changing. Sometimes, though, people are resistant to that change and only fall deeper into what makes them bad people.Rachael wrote:This is true, but there are a LOT of factors that go into that. I've gotta be honest with you - I like the way you used to be, better. Not that I expect you care or anything, it is what it is. Take that for what you will.Blox wrote:You wouldn't believe the harsh toxic shit I am today is the same guy that signed up to these forums all those years ago!

It feels kinda hard to take people who use profanity in casual conversation seriously, that's an opinion that's been growing on me over the years.Blox wrote:You wouldn't believe the harsh toxic shit I am today is the same guy that signed up to these forums all those years ago!

I guess it depends on how it's used. Used correctly, it can really add the proper amount of spice to a sentence. If abused, it can get pretty fucking obnoxious.Undead wrote:It feels kinda hard to take people who use profanity in casual conversation seriously, that's an opinion that's been growing on me over the years.

I looked up online and it says that able for you to see the total eclipse you have to where a special type of sunglasses or make something out of cardboard box. They just said that regular sunglasses won't do any good and hopefully is not cloudy or raining.

To look directly at the sun you need at least #14 welder's glass or equivalent. If the eclipse is total at your location you'll have about 1 minute where it's viewable with the naked eye. If it's just partial, use a pinhole projector made out of a shoebox.

I'll be going to the eye doctor today, and so I will probably ask them if they have a special type of sunglasses and they will. I'm hoping and praying for a clear sunny day the next 2 weeks from now.Caligari87 wrote:To look directly at the sun you need at least #14 welder's glass or equivalent.
