how about there is a chance that you can pick up a manual, which make the item work as normal again (but before it works fully, you need to read the manual a few times)

After a month hiatus, I'm back with a brand new update for Useless Pickups!
In this update, you'll be able to completely customize your useless items!
You can now choose between having Useless Items, which is the standard experience, Useful Items, which makes them behave just like vanilla items, or Nothing, which completely removes those items from the game!
