Re: Cannot get .sf2 file to work
So would it be something like this:
soundfont"C:\Users\Administrator.TIMMY\Documents\Timmy's Files and Documents\Doom\1mgm.sf2"
Or
soundfont C:\Users\Administrator.TIMMY\Documents\Timmy's Files and Documents\Doom\"1mgm.sf2"
Or would I need to use dir instead of soundfont?

Cannot get .sf2 file to work
Back in the day, I used to play Doom on my grandmother's Windows 95 machine. Her soundcard was an AWE32. Doom sounded a little like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2kBgPB0RUU&feature=related I ran into the file 1mgm.sf2, and I followed the instruction on how to use it with ZDoom. Here is the ...

Re: ZDoom/Keyboard help
I installed a driver update from Windows Update onto the thing. I then rolled back the driver so that it would just use the driver that Windows comes with (you know, dated 7/1/2001), but that didn't work. Here's a link to the keyboard I use. http://www.dynexproducts.com/pc-573-10-dynex-multimedia ...

Re: What did you call monsters before you knew their real names?
Pain Elemental: Green Guy Are you colour blind? :? I read the manual before I actually played, so I knew their names already, although I do remember telling my dad not to shoot Pain Elementals because I thought hurting them gave them health. :x I was like 5 at the time..... You know that sound ...

I tried tweaking the settings on the Registry to what you provided in that topic, but it didn't really help.

ZDoom/Keyboard help
I just had to replace my keyboard, and my new keyboard is just a multimedia Dynex. However, some of the keys do not play nice with ZDoom. For example, the ` key didn't open the console for me anymore, even though the ` key was listed as my console key. I re-entered that key under "Customize Controls ...

[2.3.1] psxd_beta.pk3 screws up status bar in latest ZDoom
I don't know if you've heard of psxd_beta.pk3, but it's a file that is a mod of Playstation Doom, with all of the sounds, music, graphics, and so on. When I try to run it in the latest version of ZDoom, the status bar screws up. The status bar basically alternates through several graphics throughout ...

Re: ZDoom 2.3.0 released
I did an FPS on both 2.2.0 and 2.3.0, and the results were nearly equal. Could other memory consuming apps running in the background slow down ZDoom?
EDIT: Oops, forgot the FPS. They ranged anywhere from 25-200 FPS, usually averaged between 35-45 FPS. Why does that seem rather low?

Re: ZDoom 2.3.0 released
3.4 GHZ Pentium IV
ATI RADEON X700 PRO
2.25 GB RAM
I run the game with a 1680x1050 res, and even lowering it didn't do a whole lot.

Re: ZDoom 2.3.0 released
Great release, but for some reason, my performance suffered a bit after upgrading to 2.3.0. What could be the top cause for this?

Alright, thanks, I didn't know that there was a compatibility option for this. Yay me.
What is the other option supposed to do?
