Looks like it is too sharp and clean. Doom has a good amount of visible pixels. You need to make it more rough. I would try this. -blur / soften it a bit first, you are looking at the enemies in the game, not at your weapon -pixelate it to have that good crispy doom taste on it -one way to do it, is ...

Yeah, I probably need to learn do it the right way.
I tried to replace some textures, but now map areas and the new monsters keep on disappearing. I probably f*** up the doom2.wad I was working on... sigh...

Yes I had to edit the doom2.wad with my limited newbie skills. I first tried making my own .wad but could not make it working. I am also using Brutal Doom so it is a bit mess. I think i got it working at last.
I had to update the maps after updating monsters frames. I also had to remove the 0 frames.

Thanks, but I already did draw all the rotations. This automatic mirroring would have helped. But I was not asking about it. I asked about how can I change the ss soldiers shooting animation to be in all directions. As default it has only one rotation. Always looking at player, like FIREH0. I have ...

Hi I have edited the ss soldier. Made new graphics for it and turned it into completely new monster. The problem I am having is with the shooting animation. It is always facing the player.
