Is Brutal Doom free to edit or something?
I've noticed a lot of people have been releasing modified Brutal Doom versions here and there. Is Brutal Doom actually free to be modified like that? Is Seargant_Mark okay with people making these edits? Or are people considering it more of a grey area?

It's not like BD is 100% original content so I think Mark can't really forbid that even if he wanted to

It's a legitimate question. Linking him to that thread is meaningless.enderkevin13 wrote:http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=47678hainguyen99992 wrote:I've noticed a lot of people have been releasing modified Brutal Doom versions here and there. considering the person in charge of Project Brutality is working with him, he doesnt much care. sarge is pretty down to earth, when i asked if i could pass out the older v20b beta to some friends of mine he straight up didnt give two fucks so i assume everything else is okay.hainguyen99992 wrote:I've noticed a lot of people have been releasing modified Brutal Doom versions here and there. Some people are making mods while others do their best to stop and ban projects.
Sarge seems to be ok and one of those who make and allow things to happen.

Whining about me locking your project thread is not going to get me to unlock it for you.demonimp wrote:Some people are making mods while others do their best to stop and ban projects.

I was not expecting you to do that. You assume a lot.wildweasel wrote:Whining about me locking your project thread is not going to get me to unlock it for you.demonimp wrote:Some people are making mods while others do their best to stop and ban projects.
The mod is available elsewhere on the web.
I was just writing generally, should the people and communities be working together and helping each others out, instead of policing each others over what can be done and what not.

You broke community rules, which you must read and accept before post anything in a community. If you don't like it, then it's not the right place for you.demonimp wrote:I was not expecting you to do that.
