I tried it, and it didn't look that great. I could probably work more on it and get it to look good, but I don't think that would be the best approach. It's not uncommon for foreground objects to be rendered differently from background objects in cel-shaded games, cartoons, etc., and I think that's the direction we want to go. It just needs more work is all :)

Probably, but I've spent so long getting comfortable with the ZDoom family's featureset that completely changing sourceport would be really counter-intuitive. This isn't a knock against Eternity, but more my inability to adapt like a man :P

SWEET. Someone had the same idea I did but actually made it. :D

Any chance you could release that? Also, can players attack the creeps, or do you only watch after setting up the towers?

One screen from an map I'm doing for Paul Corfaitis his project. I'm only allowed to use stock doom textures, which is not an problem for me.

I dislike the TNT e1 sky, but the map looks up to your usual standards of awesome build quality. ;)

Now that I look at it, that floor design is something I had in mind for a deathmatch level, filled with places to hide in and behind. It'd be complete with custom weaponry designed specifically for the level, too. I should save that pic and build around that concept of a cramped outdoor area.

I'm starting to question why not being able to ignore at least moderators is a good idea.
I know there's one PARTICULAR DEVELOPER I want to not be able to listen to. And he is definitely NOT Randy. ¬¬

Sadly the only alternative is leaving this place or killing myself.

  • You should NEVER ignore a regular moderator's posts. That's just dumb and you may miss important facts/rule changes
  • They did not anticipate the situation of a developer you may not like, because this is not common.
  • Phpbb is not ZDBB. It isn't tweaked for this forum alone.
