How dead is ZDoom really?

Discuss anything ZDoom-related that doesn't fall into one of the other categories.

no more whining about 2.1.0 updates! Kthxbye. Oh and look at the bugs forum will ya? Randy's trying his best to get all those bugs fixed, and I bet Graf does his best with GZDoom.

My opinion rests.

@Whoever started this thread -

First of all, ZDoom is most likely the least dead source port out there, compared with others. Also, it DOESN'T SUCK! Like many others Doom ports do.

Second, many people don't realize how difficult it is to program something. It takes an enormous amount of effort to deal with something as complex as ZDoom.

Third, none of these comments about switching help very much. It's hard on your morale to see your followers (for lack of a better word) start abandoning you.

Go get a life.

Just because I don't work on it as frequently as I have in the past does not make it dead.

Maybe I will start posting updates from my changelog so you can stop crying for news.

Or better yet, just blast this thread into the stone age, and ban those who have created it. Not nice, but I think this thread could turn into a serious monster if it isn't nipped in the bud.
