[REL] Kybok Rakov

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Except there really isn't much. Audio is already compressed as it is.

It's funny seeing people justify bloat. Just name a good wad that runs over 100mb. JUST NAME ONE.

Winter's Fury is over 100 mb. Then again, that's in WAD format, so... :|

But for the curious, Ascension Revolution sits at 30MB (okay, that one's not top secret), Stoner Doom (decraped version- long story) is 110MB, and Metro 2034 is 53MB (including Freedoom). But forget you ever heard those names. Except the first one, remember that one. Please?
"Please don't mention these things I wouldn't ever bring up if I didn't actually want them mentioned! Especially not in someone else's project thread! Nudge wink etc." Come on, man.
Actually, most of these really are never intended for public release. I was trying to be facetious, and also posting early in the morning with about five minutes before I had to leave. So... yeah.

Looking through my WAD folder, Action Doom 2 is 140MB. Operation: Inhuman, Project MSX, and Paranoid all approach the 100MB mark. It would be interesting to rip open some WAD files and see where the file size comes from, but perhaps it's time to move this discussion to another thread.

I typoed. You know I meant to write 200mb!

The only unavoidable bloat in mods i've seen have been anything for a Battlefield game (1942, vietnam, 2). Doom has no excuse for it.

It's funny that people aren't talking about the Wad itself and instead changed the topic to talking about the size of wad files.

Can we ban anyone who posts a Terry-tier trollwad on principle?

Not only does that sound very immature, but dg2000 actually has a good point. This wad actually looks really shit besides being 350 megabytes.

if some managers manages to lock this thread, and of course if they agrees. over-sized wad that has a awkward voices and stolen stuffs are not really welcome in this forum, though.
