@Vaecrius there is a bug that can potentially cause inventory items to not display on the HUD, and requires a certain amount of fuss to fix.

It's rather notable if you actually watch the E1M6 vid.

Maybe the lost souls could give the player the "wiggles" on bite? kinda like that whole "you look like you have seen a ghost!" type deal...I could support that, if they were slightly more fragile, and had a slower explosion state (and perhaps far less mass, so they were easier to fling around. Really, for their size, and power, and partially physical nature, I think bullets would throw them around much more). Please note, I mean TREMBLING, not JUST a high hit on stamina, THAT would be too much. Maybe a slightly randomized direction in moving when moving too

Actually, that could make pain elementals far more interesting.

SD, can you just tell me what point in the vid I should be looking at? It's Tuesday and I'm constantly flipping between this and another tab that looks a little more deniably work-related.

I see it, thanks!

...oh no another trudge through sbarinfo... really, really tempted to throw everything out in favour of ACS...

EDIT: Fortunately no change needed to SBARINFO but this does show a more systemic weakness related to weapon selection that I'll have to address with an additional script...

SBARINFO, for all it's bullcrap, is probably still more stable for use than ACS.

Just an idea to make cacos a bit more dangerous, what if them landing at a velocity higher than a certain speed, while sparking forced a couple random caco bolts out in random directions? Kinda like the extra juice being squeezed out..

Done.....squad summoner ftw, by the way. : D

Also, inventory bug located.

Kind of funny how not running from the red key trap was the most efficient approach.

Finally got around to starting EP2 Grimdark & I'm adding em to the playlist as I go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzXDGC_ ... 5&index=10

E2M2 remains my favorite ep2 map, even on grimdark :>

Or you can do it like I did. Stand eerily close to it, grab it, and don't even trigger the trap. :P

But did you get to unleash a squad that buttraped half of the enemy force? : P

On E1M8, yeah. Helps a ton against the spectres. I had a very "don't fight if you don't have to" mentality during my playthrough.

Doesn't really count on E1M8. Even on UV, there's not *that* many enemies.

Bah, I was panicking about the barons rather, but the squad just stunlocked them so hard that even after they got revived by a pair of Yokai, they still didn't manage to fire a single projectile at all. I saved everything for this, including a Rocket Launcher that I didn't even use.

Nine-tenths hair-pulling frustration followed by one-tenth anticlimax sounds par for the course for Hideous Destructor. :P
