For some reason I'm glad that the Hotlinking button is showing up instead.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I'll probably do that thinning out thing, because I agree looking back on it.Gez wrote:I agree the legs are too thick. Comparing to the Doomguy above, baby ain't got back but her left leg is as broad as Doomguy's one while otherwise -- torso and right leg -- she's thinner.Captain Ventris wrote:WHAT?! A DECENT CRASH SPRITE!?!?!? Thin down her legs a couple pixels and you've got it.
Also, change her left arm posture. It looks like she's holding the barrel of an invisible shotgun. (Same comment for Cloak BTW.)
The whole left arm posture...hmm, I don't know what to do. The Pistol Marine sprite that I based it off of (which in turn is based off of Strife Guy who I based Cloak on) does that with his arm. So I'm not sure about Cloak, but I'll probably fix it for Crash.

Someone updated the pistol marine sprites so that his arm is at his side, dunno where to get them though

@.+:icytux:+.: Those images look exactly the same.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Grimm updated the Pistol Marine it a while ago, and let me use it as a base for the revamped Doom 3 Pistol ZSec. He asked me to try to upload it to IdGames, but I haven't found out how, since then. If anyone wants it, I'll PM it (so as not to clutter this thread with links
).
Now someone needs to update the Fist Marine's attack animation.

Thing is, I think I know what you're talking about. I'm not sure if that even looks natural (because if I remember, it does look kind of weird having the arm at the side)Ghastly_dragon wrote:Grimm updated the Pistol Marine it a while ago, and let me use it as a base for the revamped Doom 3 Pistol ZSec. Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
We've got enough soul harvester edits on the beastiary already, I think. Surely you could get a replica or at least a close approximation of that sprite using just the original imp as a base.
Looking nice, though.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Thats true,of course this was just a test to see what I could do on Paint.net.Trying to figure out how to get a good looking Bony zombie sprite.I'll probably continue to mess with this sprite to see if I can alter it enough to get rid of the imp structure.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Given the look of the sprite, I don't really think it matters too much which one is used. I think we can all agree, though, that the Imp is more modifiedjimmy91 wrote:We've got enough soul harvester edits on the beastiary already, I think.
