Weasel's right. I just posted that for gigs, really. And yes, XutaWoo, I thought of that while I was doing the pasting job but it looked good regardless.

Anyway,

I bet none of you are going to get this.

This is literally the worst sprite I've ever made. I whipped it up in a matter of minutes.

EDIT: Here's a free status bar (I didn't test it ingame yet.)
Ugh.
Ugh.

Win.

Incidentally, Nosehair26, your status bar looks quite badass. Good balance between detail and that lovely Doomish simplicity.

Got the rifle tacked on to all of the Strifeguy's walking frames. The front-facing angles (1, 2, 8) look good, the sides are kinda hit and miss. Also got the first frame for his firing animation done...

Now I've got to do the second frame, the pain state, and the idle state. Hopefully I can get this done tonight.

Hexen-style tree, pixeled from the ground up instead of using another sprite as a base outline this time; only using Hexen's dead tan tree as a style/color reference to try to get it as authentic-looking as possible.
(Removed, the sprite in question can be found on my site)
When I've made enough of these I'll probably submit a forest expansion set to Realm667.

Nice! :) As a request, could you please make some leaved trees too?

Depends on if you want Hexen style leafy or a more healthy tree. Extra variants on all the different types of tree in Hexen are on my agenda, I haven't decided yet on any new varieties though.

I meant healthy. There really is quite a lack of good resources of healthy vegetation in Doom modding. I (and I'm sure many others) would really appreciate it. :)

There are some healthy trees in HPack.

There's plenty of green, healthy vegetation from the several Might and Magic packs that's around here in these forums, they were ripped by Bouncy, do a search.

Halfway through making this, I realized I probably didn't need it (as it was for the player and thus you'd never see it since I wasn't intending it for a multiplayer project or for one that used cameras).

So I finished it anyway. Presenting the (unimaginatively named) Z-SPEC.

Full sprite set; includes walk, fire, pain, death, and xdeath frames. Sprites are minor edits of the Strifeguy.

Check the post immediately below this one for a smaller DL (thanks Blox!)
