The GYMS suck, the SPCs are even better but the rip in the spc pack has the 'alternate version' on it, and also lacks the second Buttville song. Sucks.Cutmanmike wrote:Zophar.net has the gym files. Just find a player that can convert to wav and then convert to whatever format you like (winamp does this)

Well, damn, 'bout time there was another good pixel artist on here. o.o
Anywho, one of my main crits is that you should shift the hues on her. For her skin, clothing, etc. Also.. Eh. I dunno, think you could anti-alias the little stands of hair so it won't seem so thick against the background. Think you could also just PARTIALLY fade out the mountain behind her. (Also, lay the dithering off some. Oo; )

Hmm neat. I prefer the first buttville song so that'll do me!

Rewritten to show the features I've already got down:
Includes an assault rifle with a mag-based reload system that actually keeps track of the number of rounds in every mag on your person.
There is no reload key, but instead you'd actually have to poke around in your inventory to find your ammo. Unless, of course, you set up your weaponslots to get around this. I don't know if I should correct this as a bug or implement it as a feature.
Now you don't actually die as far as the game engine is concerned, but instead you'd get progressively beat-up and debilitated (slowdown, jerky movement, annoying red flickering, inability to aim) until you're barely able to move or see anything. Eventually you're rendered completely frozen and unshootable and the monsters move on to another player, and since I haven't implemented the raise/wave-respawn features yet you have to kill yourself in the console or restart the game.

Yeah, I need to tweak the colors, but I plan to do my final color tweaks once the image is finished. Yes, it will include making the mountain seem more distantBlade Nightflame wrote:Anywho, one of my main crits is that you should shift the hues on her. For her skin, clothing, etc. Also.. Eh. As for the dithering: I like the dithering, I like it so
As for anti-aliasing the strands, I will take that into great consideration. I should probably find a better way to contrast them, as they just seem to fade right into the mountain in places (Though fading the mountain later will help that somewhat)
