@akira_98 how many and what maps did you do? what kind of detail?

i was thinking since theres so many maps that making the maps more boom style would be better, since id rather not spend years remaking such a big project.

On paper I've got most of Map01, Map02, and Map03. I can't do anything in DB2 till I get a new video card though, since this one is fried. The maps have a modest amount of detail. Best way to explain it, is that it's more than what Doom 2 had, but not much more. It's not the same style as yours though. I tried to get my maps to feel like Doom 2 if it had been released a few years later.

What do you mean Boom style? I would figure most of the time comes from the mapping itself, not utilizing port-specific features. Changing the port wouldn't make it go much faster. Well, unless you are using polyobjects for all your doors or some crazy thing like that.

I will be creating a new thread for this project since i will be changing alot of things for this project, so a fresh thread will be better imo.

You can lock this thread now if you want, or wait till i create the new one, just incase anyone might have some imput on this matter.
