Let's see.

VaVoom + Legacy = SHITLOAD of Bugs. + ZDoom = Not quite as many bugs but still quite a lot.

Vavoom + Legacy = shitload of bugs in regular releases
ZDoom = many bugs in a release that was clearly supposed to be a real beta version (IOW. bugs are to be expected)

But unlike Legacy ZDoom gets updated. I infrequently follow the progress of Legacy's C++ version and it is creepingly slow.

No no no, My final equation was (Vavoom + Legacy) + ZDoom. Not even a bugless ZDoom could counter act the evil buggy influence of the other two ports in there.

Besides ZDoom is still THE NO.1 Doom port around. Which is a remarkable acheivement considering it's developed by just one person.

And some people think the C++ version of Legacy will be the ports return to it's former glory and will take over ZDoom as the premier port. What's so special about it? ZDoom is in C++ as it is and EDGE will STILL kick it's (Legacy) ass (EDGE is the No. 2 port IMO.)
