Nice job Cutman. People can have a heart attack, while playing this wad. That shows how scary your wad can be.
Hmm...I think it would be interesting if there were two ghouls in Ultra-Violence and Nightmare.
I don't think anyone can kill that monster with a fist. Doomguy will die before he hits that crazy ghoul.Cutmanmike wrote:Nah that's much too easy! Fists is the best option here!
It's more challenging to have less ammo, but if a player runs out of ammo and only has a fist, he's screwed. I'd say replace the supershotgun with the shotgun, and leave the ammo just the way it is.Cutmanmike wrote:Good thinking batman. I was going to do difficulty settings anyway, like on nightmare and ultra violence, you'd get the shotgun instead of the supershotgun and maybe less ammo. Bad idea or good idea?
I'll hide the map too.

Maybe there could be something like that as a multiplayer mode. One ghoul for every player. Or maybe more.lizardcommando wrote:I bet it would be even scarier if there were two or even three of those things chasing after you. Like maybe have both of them spawn in two different directions or something? Oh man, that would be crazy!
JESUS TAPDANCING CHRIST ON A POGOSTICK!
That was messed the hell up. Oy. Just kinda strolling along through the forest, collecting ammo, minding my own business, all of a sudden screaming comes out of nowhere, spin around trying to find it, and BOOM! HEADSHOT! I mean, me = dead.
But yeah.
Semi-decent strategy I've found is to run around the outskirts, so when you here it coming, you're able to more easily figure out from where.
But yeah. AWESOMENESS ABOUNDS.

Reuploaded.
1) Difficulty settings 1 and 2 are brighter.
2) Difficulty setting 3 has a tiny bit less ammo and darker than difficulty settings 1 and 2.
3) Difficulty setting 4 and 5 and even little ammo (possible) and is darker than difficulty setting 3.
4) No automap.
5) Made an error message appear if you try using a GL renderer.
6) Added txt file.
Also uploaded to idgames, for hopefully some extra scares.
