Hey.

So I decided, in order to raise my reputation, not to try too hard with joking.
and also not to impersonate wildweasel

Right now, I'm in Israel. Yep. And I am trying to learn Hebrew.

Plane ride sucked, though. Couldn't sleep and I was pacing everywhere.

I've barely eaten anything in the last four or five days...ear is still very muffled and while the pain is not there I only have the rest of today and tomorrow's tablets left and I don't know if it's going to clear up...might have to see doctor again about this stuff :(

Also linked to the "not eating" thing is that I am lacking motivation and I'm feel incredibly anxious about even leaving my room lately...hours seem to just pass and I don't know what is wrong with me once more...just going on the same five or so websites that barely change or don't interest me when I should be out doing shopping and actually getting myself food or finishing up that last bit of Christmas shopping I hate doing so much.

Feeling lonely and isolated once again and I'm scared I'm going to regress further and things are just going to get worse...I'm starting to become too nervous about even leaving my room...I don't need this at my age...what the fuck...

Tough days you're having. You must visit a doctor for that and you must eat, i repeat, you must eat anything else to be at least motivated or get healthy.

I'm really sorry about bad things happening to you, and i hope you can be alright soon.

Sounds like anxiety/panic attacks. Best thing to do is get out of that isolation and talk to someone. It's a cliche but sometimes your own mind is your worst enemy, and once doubt starts it becomes all too easy to manifest in illness, paranoia and fear.

By all means, save some time for yourself in the evening to do things you would normally like to do, it can help bring a feeling of normalcy. But get out there and accomplish something. Even one thing a day ("today I will buy food, tommorow I will get those presents), can help you feel like you are in control again.

Talking to people might not actually be a good thing to throw oneself into depending on the particular persons' anxiety disorder.

The most effective way (if not at all easy) is to FORCE yourself into the fear. It will go against your every physical instinct because anxiety is your flight-or-fight response going into overdrive without any logical reason, and a bad attack is the same as being about to die on a biochemical level. But you're NOT, a fact you need to hammer into yourself every time the feeling pops up. PM me if you feel you need to talk about this more in depth.

It seems my recent indulgences have caught up with me, and I shall be spending this Christmas with toothache.

Fortunately, I have also been sent a vast quantity of alchohol, so I don't anticipate any problems :)

Wine doesn't taste bad, at least not to me. It's beer I don't like.

I'm not sure what to do with the background. Characters are offset so much to the side because I had anticipated using this as a banner for mine and my fiance's new-ish YouTube channel.

I don't consume any kind of alcohol (knowingly)*, for two reasons:
  1. The very smell of beer and similar (or, since it's the US, "beer") makes me feel phyiscally ill.
  2. Family history of alcoholism on both sides. #1 isn't really so bad if it's indeed keeping me out of trouble.

* Aside from Communion wine on a couple occasions.

Both of those are enough to make a person never start. Also, think of the amount of money you're saving! :yup:

I'm saving enough for "comfort and convenience". Bad joke, I know.

Also ugh I keep getting myself into internet fights. I can't be that bored with life can I?

I actually have a family history of alcoholism, myself. So I just make it a point not to drink regularly or often.

The most drunk I've ever been was at a Swedish party (was the first time I had ever been to an alcohol-heavy party in my life, actually). I think I had 5, maybe 6 glasses of wine that night? Didn't particularly care to repeat that, really. I felt like I was barely even there.

Other than that, though, I do have a glass of wine on special occasions, like special friends or family, thanksgiving dinner, christmas, new year's, stuff like that. If I drink, it's 2 glasses tops. If I even get that far. I am usually done after 1.

I just finished rewriting 49 of ZDoom's blending drawers - by hand - one by one. And I am not even done yet.

Remember what I said about not caring to repeat that Swedish party where I got drunk? I think this time I can make an exception...
