I thought that at first, but then I realized that by "upgrade", Cutty probably meant in a gameplay sense, rather than just flat-out making it stronger.

I sure hope so its like that, he already probaly is the strongest human around, with an close up one-hit kill attack with ice, provided they can use it well. Altrough i dont know if he required weakening, what exactly would need to be weakened. Seems good enough as he currently is.

Wonder if people voted hoping for making their current class even stronger, yet it gets weakened. :P
I'd almost vote for the creeper to be improved. But he always dies by being discovered, opengl users, or plain being not so good at it. Altrough these curse balls make it easier now. He seems strong enough with an proper user.

The Creeper is probably the only class at the moment that I agree doesn't need touching ( ) at all, except maybe for a couple of new sounds- but finding someone to do those sounds may be a little hard, and a tempo shift probably wouldn't help either...=/

Sjas might a little easier though, female screams are abundant on the ol' internet so that might not be hard.

Except most of them are probably from porn movies. Sexual moans and screams might not work well?

Marine: Eat this bitch!
Sjas: OH YES!!
Marine:.....wait...what?

Err, ghouls need those because they are melee. Ice does massive damage on medium distance, instant kill point blank, and pretty much if you manage to get hit by several at any other distance.
Heck, its a short ranged instant kill instead of melee range. I'd say he's probaly powerfull enough.

Wonder if improvements can even be thought of for the poll. As currently, its getting quite balanced.

Hmm... Wish someone would make those super moves thing mentioned earlier, even if its an unofficial addon, hehe...
Reminds me, i dont think ghouls need female voices, and i dont think Cutman can pull that off with his voice, or make it sound any bit decent. :P
Ghouls rather seem... Its, just deadly monsters without gender.

Come to think of it, how the hell would a female Jitterskull sound?

Probably an irritating high pitch sound that would annoy the crap out of everyone because some idiots would spam the crap out of it

I honestly don't think any of the ghouls need any gender-specific sounds. They're not male, they're not female -- they're a ghoul. That's how it is, and I don't think too many would complain about it... I hope. :P

About the Hunter class, their magic damage isnt like affected by with type of arrow equip yes? Say I have Flame Arrow equip and use magic. Will it do the same amount of damage if I use Ice Arrow magic? I got bored oneday and played single player doom2. I realize theat Ice magic can freeze enemies.

LOL! This probably doesn't make any sense...

Ah, i remember, good ol times. Going in singleplayer, freezing monsters and shooting them to pieces.
Altrough this just came to mind, so far i know, or simply guess, the damage for each... element is the same. But if Jitterskull is soon to have a weakness against lightning based attacks, wont that be a tad powerfull if hunters just plain start spamming magic when Jitterskull misses and is nearby?

Hmm... Altrough im not sure what damage magic does normally. But if its quite much, thats rather easy damage without even having to aim! Only to run away and to it once more, when possible.

And im curious on how many people actually want female ghoul sounds (not that the current ones seem gender specific, though).

It would be nice for the ghouls to have them but as I mentioned earlier it might be hard to find the appropriate samples needed for the different classes...
Oh and the female cyborg needs a couple of new taunts...the turrets in Portal have some other good things to say too ya know! :)

Due to Skulltag doing the complete opposite online of what it does offline, I'm going to have to scrap the whole Cyborg super boost thing. You wouldn't think it would be such a problem, but when I tried it online all kinds of crap was going wrong. Ammo wasn't being taken client side, stuff not spawning correctly, states being ignored... ARG!

Instead of giving him a double tap abillity, I was thinking of just improving something a little easier to manage. How about instead of holding altfire to jetpack, make it a toggle? Hit altfire once to turn it on, hit altfire again to turn it off. This would allow you to fly around and shoot plasma, although it would be painful on the ammo supply. Maybe make the jetpack take 1 rather than 2 ammo?

Dang, just played against a sjas using sr50. Now, I understand it's part of the engine, and that this is a bit timeline, and I wouldn't complain in standard doom, but for a flying character, it's insane. It allows one to make dives that are either impossible to survive, or would not be possible for a normal sjas player to pull off in such a limited space or span of time, to the point at which it just isn't fun to play against them. It makes more of a difference for sjas than any of the other classes. A big one.

It didn't seem much faster when I tested it. If anything it's just awkward to use so any kills you get from it are rewarding :geek:

Edit: Are you sure it was SR50? Qent pointed out to me two rather nasty exploits with Sjas, which I haven't tried out yet but from what he said in the email could prove pretty gamebreaking. If it is, I will push out a new release immediately (immediately when I'm at home, that is).
