Unless you think we're physic, you need to post your graphics card/driver version details. Just like everyone else has.Mayhem666 wrote:Ok, i'm actually having a problem with the new GZDOOM's build. I'm currently using a Geforce GTX 760 with the lastest Nvidia driver.edward850 wrote:Unless you think we're physic, you need to post your graphics card/driver version details. Well there's nothing wrong there. Your problem isn't related to anything GZDoom specific, either, as the latest build works fine. Perhaps run it in windowed mode to isolate any problems there.

Ok i got it i think. I changed the resolution some times and it seems to bug and takes time to appear. Well first time i encount this kind of bug.edward850 wrote:Well there's nothing wrong there. Lol yes, exactly, and funny thing is that he got the same video card as me.Kappes Buur wrote:Probably the same as this http://forum.drdteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=6542Mayhem666 wrote:Ok i got it i think. The latest GZDoom revisions don't work on my Desktop yet they work on my (crappy and slow) School Laptop...
I'm confused.
But other then that, I'd like to run it on my desktop because I'm not spending money just so I can get a new graphics card when I'm already rather poor at the moment.

When you are asking for help, instead of just saying that you have a problem, the least you could do is to provide some details.Clownman wrote:The latest GZDoom revisions don't work on my Desktop yet they work on my (crappy and slow) School Laptop...

The latest GZDoom revisions doesn't mean a lot.
Please, be specific ....
- which version of GZDoom do you run on which computer
what graphics adapter is in each computer
GPU Caps Viewer will also tell you which OpenGL attributes are supported and, there are several stress tests to find out any
weakness of your graphics adapter.
Re: [Survey] How many of you CANNOT run GZDoom's OpenGL rend
OpenGL performance improvement confirmed. ZA 2.0 is now up to ZD's features from version 2.5.
It was running like a slideshow before, v1.3, totally unaplayable, now with 2.0 it is perfectly playable (not perfectly smooth though).

What are you talking about? Zandro doesn't use GZDoom 2.1's renderer.
Re: [Survey] How many of you CANNOT run GZDoom's OpenGL rend
I noted the performance up over ZA 2.0 too, idk what was, but, it's there (maybe because I formated my notebook and reinstalled a clean driver...)

They may just have updated another (unrelated) performance enhancement.
Re: [Survey] How many of you CANNOT run GZDoom's OpenGL rend
GZDoom 1.8.10 is the last version my ancient backup notebook with a crappy GM45 onboard GPU can run...
The newest GZDoom hangs with a "R_OPENGL: Unable to create an OpenGL 3.x render context." message.
To sidestep this you have to enable software rendering by editing gzdoom-Administrator.ini and under [GlobalSettings] set vid_renderer to 0.
I post this just in case anyone else is looking for a solution.
And pretty much everything works in software, except the flashlight mods.
