So after transferring all of the innards from my dev rig into a new case and cramming it full of extra fans, my CPU temp seems to be holding (touch wood and don't boast). Except that now, my entire bank of USB ports have arbitrarily decided that they don't want anything other than a keyboard or mouse connected to them. I've tried everything to get the system to recognise even my cheap own-breand PS2-knockoff controller, but no, "USB Device Not Recognized", and that's if it even bothers its arse to recognize that something's been plugged in. I've powered off the system, unplugged it, uninstalled all of my USB root hubs, hoping that they would take again and allow me to use the damn computer (thankfully, they did), but all extraneous USB devices are now completely useless. Flash drives, SD card readers, external HDs, joypads, all defunct.

Fuck, I hate computers.

EDIT: I stand corrected, it still accepts my 360 and X1 pads, but nothing else. Can't even charge my damn phone.

I remember hearing a VN with sex scenes, Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning made it onto steam uncensored (though from what I heard the game is relatively tame)

I have no idea if this is because Valve has okayed this stuff on steam or if its because valve is caring even less about what goes onto their platform

Nope. They have to release without explicit scenes like all other games. Unfortunately there's been weaseling around this with official uncensoring patches causing their game hubs to load up with western imitation hentai. If you see something, flag something.
Even Japan's big games industry can't allow it either. Most of our M games get censored there (even for gore).

Their artwork hubs are also spammed with unrelated anime gifs, instead of...... their own artwork

Under the GNU GPL it already sort of is. Going strictly non-commercial would be a violation of all the GPLs involved.
and as for "anime tiddies" I know my limits Standard Capcom fighting game nudity is the most that'll happen*. No crazy Soulcalibur, MK9+ or DOA "clothes" stuff here. Think ESRB T / CERO C / BBFC 12 / USK 0 rating.

* -except for succubus who will be marked _lewd (and only function with a cvar set) and be a seperate download from base.
