Some new blood decals, new floor decals, crappy special FX and blood mixing with water (inspired by Droplets). Not much of anything.

What a new revolution of the classic and decent bloods n' gores for doom rather than brutal! That's totally count as anything much to me!

It's a bit too soft-edged and with a very noisy texture that doesn't look good at all - the red pools of blood also seem lacking in contrast beyond "mid-dark red color".
If those issues were kill then it'd probably look a lot better.

speaking of bloody gibs and messes here's what OA3's instagib looks like at this point (60fps video)



it's missing gibsounds, some gib meshes, and more importantly an actual railgun model. i have one concepted already


Also i'm blending the gibtrails with alphatest and the blood splats with both subtractive and alpha test. It's really cool when it fades away, looks like a soaking. also so animu ^~ not to mention it's FASTER than q3's gib effect on 97-99 PCs

Im thinking to use the SShotgun on another combo sequence and leave the RocketLauncher and the BFG as Fatalities, if someone can suggest me a combo sequence (like L, R, L, L or stuff) would be appreciated :wink:
And the attacks don't have sounds.......................yet

Thank you for the offer, but the way I want it to look doesn't look like your sprites. I have the flash sprites I just have to actually use dodge/burn this time around. I can do it myself, I'm just being lazy. I have finished the pistol muzzle flash though.
