i built the teleporting minecart track thing, just like the guides said
i used all the buff potions i could get my hands on, just like the guides said
i optimized my equipment to hell and back, just like the guides said
IT DIDN'T FUCKING WORK
oh, and while i was building the stupid thing, i had 2 consecutive blood moons, a slime rain, and a pirate invasion
what the hell
when i actually WANT these things to happen, nothing, but the moment i want to actually build something, just throw the entire fucking list of events at me
"OH YOU WANTED TO BUILD SOMETHING? HERE HAVE SOME INCREASED ENEMY SPAWNS SO YOU HAVE TO DO IT WHILE YOU'RE BEING SNIPED BY GODDAMN LASER SNAILS"
i mean, i can beat him in normal mode, even with sub-optimal gear, without resorting to cheap tricks (just potion spam, dodging like my life depends on it- which it does!-, and sheer determination. aaaand one or two trips to the nurse, which didn't help much since i ended up taking a lot of damage while getting back out of the house, but at least it stalls a bit for my potion cooldown)
but in expert mode he just does too much damage (especially the death rays), and i just get rekt in a matter of seconds. i swear his shots move faster, too.

I didn't expect someone else to take that knowledge and "one up" me in a competition thread, that's just shady. I know I would not have done that, out of respect to the person who shared their knowledge with me.
Sorry if that came out as rude, I shouldn't have picked such condescending wording.
Nash didn't have a problem with your wording. He has a problem with using his own knowledge against him in a competition. Do you not see why that's a bad idea?
Meanwhile: fridge logic moment. In "Lady and the Tramp" we see coffee bring poured for Lady in one scene. Looking back at it I think I just wtf'd internally since that's super dangerous to do to a dog let alone one as tiny as Lady.

Oh, he's frisbee, but he's sure not impossible to beat. Potions, heart/mana statues (maybe even mob farms for hearts).. Your set up and skill at the game's the only limit.

Reminds me one time we left the dog alone at home for some time and when we came back the bowl with all the coffee candies was knocked over and she was dashing around clawing at the walls (well, and there was poop too, oh lordy the poop).
i've been trying to play Final Fantasy 3 (not the SNES game, not the DS Remake, but the NES fan-translation), and i'm having a hard time. either the game's really difficult or i just suck at video games. :S
