More progress on my Shadowrun module, I'm building the hub area and where a lot of the missions will take place so it's kind of big and will probably expand a little more on the X axis. The 4 lane highway bit is going to be the market place area, the west will likely be apartment buildings and such, east will be general slumminess and south will be some corporate buildings.

Pretty excited, though I'm having trouble getting a handle on how the engine handles lighting, it's kind of a pain in the butt.

The first Condemned does not have fists. You get only one weapon slot, and it is extremely rare to find loaded guns.

Yet the controls menu mentions it.

I guess the engine would allow more weapons. Kinda like TF2 has controls for 10 weapon slots, while no class wears so many the same time.

Those are for finishing moves, if I remember correctly; if you damage an enemy enough that they're on their knees, you can press one of the four number keys to finish them off in one of four ways. You can't do it all the time, and it is ultimately just a "pick which one you wanna see" feature instead of offering any real gameplay changes.

Quietly cleaning up after people like that is one of the ways things get so screwed up. I say this as someone who works in retail.

Today It was a really nice day 65°degree outside but we had 50 to 85 mile wind gusts all day and some highway was closed down because of semi trucks flipped over from the high winds and one almost flipped in front of us going down the road too.

Tomorrow its going to be in the 60s again and going to the Chicago Auto show I promise you guy I'll post some really good pictures of the cars that they have there.

This has been a really warm winter this year so far and i think we got 3 more weeks until spring. The days are getting more longer too.
