What I love about shivers animations is the fact that it's not all static. The weapon doesn't just stay after the clip went out, it moves a little, like someone is really holding it.

like a real good move, and shivers is on a good groove, too.

Have a crappy rip. Mirrored (because I'm dumb) and very much in need of polish. Even a slightly misaligned texture. OH BOY!

I came up with a little something.

I made a new shotgun and ssg. All painstakingly done in ms paint.

Shotty is a hybrid of the Doom 64 shotgun mixed with the original.

The SSG is a slight combination of the original and psx final doom version with a wooden stock added. Nothing fancy, but kinda cool. I might do a few more tweaks to it.

Slightly more tweaked ssg:

Found a really nice beretta model, decided to make it a sprite. I'm hoping no one will use these without asking first.
That is the greatest Beretta this thread has seen in a while! Great work!

Indeed! One thing I might suggest is a little "flick" to eject the old mag. It currently looks just a little bit like the same mag is being pushed right back in. Making it look like the old one is getting spat out onto the ground might break that illusion a bit.

I think the dog needs to go, though. Not believable at all. :?

Removing the silencer will be a bitch and a half. Dog included for accuracy.

Edit: Also I removed the silencer from the frontal frames, while realizing in the process that Shivers:

-made the third sprite 10% bigger and put it before the original in the GIF
-it wasn't in the Doom palette
So I'm still leaving it in its non-paletted glory

Have a tiny, simple, hard to see ammo box. You can use it as a base for custom ammo boxes. Credits to Captain J and Velocity.

I never really liked that hand, it looks very awkward.

Some examples of how to use the base ammo box. From left to right: Base ammo box, Jackal's custom 9mm ammo for the TMP in Resident Evil 4, fire grenades, and a box o bullets for Doom. They are not paletted.

I made this first by sketching a picture and then drawing over it with Gamemaker's sprite editor.
