Sweet! ZDooM and Half-Life 2 not only kick ass, but they can wash your clothes too! Excellent!

Can't say the same for Doom 3 though.... :(

Yeah, all you can say for Doom 3 is that it inspired the feature set in the video cards of the past 3 years. That's a real bummer.

Yes, and that is clearly the holy grail of gaming. So even if a game sucks gerbil nuts, who cares! 'Cuz it inspired "the feature set in the video cards of the past 3 years"....

Luckily it didn't suck gerbil nuts.

Once again I feel compelled to point out the only people that seem to have a problem with Doom 3 are Half-Life fanbois and people who can't run Doom 3 on their systems. Wait... That's redundant.

Heh. There's another one. I never said Doom 3. I actually avoided mentioning Doom 3. I just said "a game"; you just assumed I meant Doom 3. I don't even really think Doom 3 sucks. I may say it sucks to bug you from time to time (though I can't rememebr the last time I actually said it).... In fact I think Doom 3 was a very good game. Just a tad bit too dark for my taste. I was looking forward to Doom 3 for a long time before it came out and I knew I was going to enjoy playing it.

You feel compelled to do what? Say something that's not even close to true? Well I'm not surprised. Besodes I'm not a Half-Life 2 fanboy. I love the game much more than I like Doom 3 but that doesn't make me a Half-Life 2 fanboy. You on the other hand are quick to jump at anyone who mentions Half-Life 2. Why? Because Half-Life 2 beat Doom 3 in raw sales figures? Or because most people think it's the better game? Or because you think there's some sort of rivalry between the two and thus you're out to prove to everyone without any actual proof that Doom 3 is much better than Half-Life 2? That's fanboyism. If you can't accept that other people have opinions different than yours and you feel compelled to "point out" that Doom 3 is "BeTtER!!!!1111onetwo2" than Half-Life 2 or that Half-Life 2 sucked, then you're a Doom 3 fanboy. Of course in this case you've already proven you're a Doom-series/iD-Software fanboy beforehand. Besides, remember than you were the only one who refused to even acknowledge the possiblity of Half-Life 2 being a good game because you'd "seen a mattress demonstratios video" of the physics engine or some such crap and you based everything on that. Whereas I never thought Doom 3 was going to suck. I predicted Half-Life 2 would be the better game based on what I had seen from and read about the two, and although I myself have never been at the helm of either one, I've seen both games being played, and from that my opinion is that Half-Life 2 is the better game (though Doom 3 is scarier) and that Doom 3 is too dark....

As for not being able to run Doom 3 on my system, as I said before, I haven't been able to run Half-Life 2 on my system either. So what's the difference?

Not true. This computer can play Doom 3 just fine (in fact, that's the whole reason I got a new computer in the first place). However, when I took a look at the actual game, I decided it wasn't worth my time. I just don't like how they changed Doom.

Oh well, I was looking for another candidate for my ignore button anyway. Since it's become pretty clear that Geedougg can't have a conversation without twisting everything that's said to mean something else, he seems like the perfect choice. See you, dipshit.

Look, Randy coded "Out of this World" to work in Zdoom! Unfortunately, he hasn't got the enemy support and placement down yet, so he just uses the Doom monsters.

Yeah, that game had some pretty hard parts in it (like the run away from the water part).

Well, I think it would kind of miss the point of being a game and all.
