Beware dark blue things, they are really flat and hard to see anything in.
So I'd like to see without the dark blue teeth/horns because I'm sure it'd look better.

i was having trouble with the blue parts now that you mention it, for some reason the lighter tones are too light and the dark ones too dark

I actually rather like the dark blue bits. I think they look pretty cool and they're a bit different. Of course, the reason they are different might be because such a colour scheme doesn't work well in game so people avoid doing it. I'd like to see it in game before dismissing it entirely though.

The current complete Kaiserli family of rifles, with the recent addition of the Model 36:

The columns are, from left to right - assault rifles, machine guns, and semi-automatic scout rifles.

Ok I'm having a really hard time.. When I start a sprite I begin to feel a heavy weight of lazyness when it comes to making rotations... Is this something I have to overcome? Anyways here's one I didn't finish, just messed around with from scratch

Reference to Destiny much?

Only because "scout rifle" adequately describes a semi-automatic battle rifle as far as my purposes are concerned. Also, Destiny MGs are smexy as hell.

To be honest, the EM series shows more of a Destiny vibe than most of them, sighting arrangements aside.

Given the stocks and the trigger guards, it does look similar to Destiny's weapons.

counts as practice i guess
maybe someone will be able to tell me if theres something completely off about it
maybe ill start shading somewhere in the distant future of never
Actually, this has quite a bit of potential if colored in and shaded.

Both of those look pretty darn good! And don't worry too much about the 'getting worse' feeling. Rotations are just generally time-consuming + draining to do. Just keep open to criticism and fix whatever issues people might point out along the way.

Shaded one out of three, but since I'm a lazy one I didn't crop his hand out so... yeah.
