Actually, I agree with most of tht, particularly where you've put The Chasm and Cirlce of Death (How did I forget that?)

The chasm is a very interesting map. I end up getting confused on that often.

Map24 sucks. I'm glad it can be skipped so easily.

I was rather disappointed with the doom2 maps. They were small, simple, and didn;t have much detail even compaired to doom 1. There were a huge a mount of missing upper and lower textures and some maps seems to just use random texture placements, making the game look like a mess. If it wasn't for the awesome new monsters and weapons, I would have never liked doom 2.

Grosse. And Wolfenstein for 2nd. What can I say? I was a huge Wolf 3d fan. I used to play the demo for that game when it came out to the point that I memorized nearly all the maps.

Doom 2 didn't do it for me the way Doom did. I was into pwads by that time anyway.

You have to be kidding me. That map is horrible for DM.

I second the above poster 375%.

My Idea of a good DM Map is a large, kinda-sorta flat with some walls and hills and holes here and there.

I just don't like MAP24, Period.

MAP24 has exactly one redeeming feature.

And that is the end.

There's just that narrowing walk lined with lost souls that, if you fall off, you're fucked first!! At least the designers of GBA Doom 2 added a teleporter in the slimepit and didn't make the walk narrower and narrower to give the player a fighting change.
