Re: Steam Summer Sale
aparently the authenticator needs to have been enabled for at least 7 days. i got the authenticator just 2 days ago i think, so i don't know how that even works. really feel like this could've been made a lot clearer and not have actually honest customers get screwed over because of a few bad cases.

I got Prison Architect. Also picked up The Vanishing of Ethan Carter from gog.com.
If you haven't, you should check out the Legend of Grimrock games. They are amazing and right now super cheap.
Also, I'm close to finishing a big mod for the first Grimrock game.

Oooh, does it add some good variety? (The primary complaint I've seen about the first one.)Ixnatifual wrote:Also, I'm close to finishing a big mod for the first Grimrock game.

It couldn't be any clearer without using blink tags.Newly Authorized Device
If you are logging onto Steam from a device that has not been Steam Guarded for 7 days you will not be able to trade or use the Community Market from this device for 7 days. Any other devices that have already been authorized for 7 days will still be able to trade and use the Community Market.
Actions such as clearing your web browser cookies, using a new web browser, reinstalling Steam, and reformatting your computer will trigger this restriction.
If you have had a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator on your account for at least 7 days, there will be no trading or Market restrictions for using new devices/computers.

The entire FEAR collection for NINE NOTES!
Re: Steam Summer Sale
After much deliberation and economic management, I purchased five games, all FPS's: RTCW, Hard Reset, Shadow Warrior, Painkiller and Rage.

I'm only mildly disappointed that my college fund disbursement doesn't show up in my bank account until Tuesday...and the sale ends tomorrow. =/

It does make use of a new tileset made by another modder. The tileset is very professionally done, so it doesn't look out of place with the stock tilesets.NeuralStunner wrote:Oooh, does it add some good variety? On that note, I got very little in the way of games this time. At some point I realized I was practically hoarding, so I've slowed down a bit.

Re: Steam Summer Sale
I broke down and finally got Oblivion and Skyrim.
Now I've got two more games (besides Classic Doom) in which I can get lost in community mods.
