Your Username
Re: Your Username
My username is simply based on the black metal band of the same name '' Mayhem ''. Used that name prolly everywhere since few years ago. But added the 666 because i was afraid that the name without numbers would already be taken. If it's not the case, i would want to remove them of course
Re: Your Username
It was supposed to be toby (My dog) + tolberone
but for some reason it never occurred to me that this"fusion" just resulted in tolberone but without the 'l', despite this however I'm quite fond of it.

Re: Your Username
I think it had something to do with the Undead Legion in AQW and Hollywood Undead.

Re: Your Username
Off-topic, I really wish I could like that band. They have an awesome sound but their general tone and most of their lyrics are just... ugh. Same with Otep.undead003 wrote:Hollywood Undead.

(Coincidentally, it's also an anagram of "Hitler", but this is entirely coincidental and I only noticed it years after-the-fact. Please don't bring ever bring it up.)

Re: Your Username
I was looking for an Id-related but not Doom-related name to use. It also describes the effect I have on assorted persons' mental state.
Oh, and one other thing: "Neural Stunner" is another thing, not my username. The lack of a space was not out of necessity.

I hope you have some other shots of this person in case you decide you're due for a change. It seems to suit you for some reason.undead003 wrote:I think it had something to do with the Undead Legion in AQW and Hollywood Undead.

Re: Your Username
My name is a plot element from my older fanfiction. Been using it (in one form or another) since 2001.
Re: Your Username
P.S. Trooper is my real name. Or well, its going to be soon.
I shouldn't have told you that.

your name is Playstation Trooper ok got it
Blox is straight from Roblox, because back in 2008 I was only just starting to get my brain growth and thus wasn't all that creative when it came to linguistics and I happened to like the game back then.
How the 'a' came in and made it Bloax is a bit more interesting, and it dates back to October 2010. (Note how this account is from September 2010 and doesn't have the 'a'.)
Some buddy of mine from the AOW2/GvH (oh the days) playerbase wanted me to join his clan that he was starting up, and so I did.
Thus we were a bunch of gvh/aow fags (albeit quite good at aow2/gvh) with little to no competitive experience coming into the competitive scene.
Half a year or so and a blast of a time later we were one of the best clans of those that didn't have any of the oldass zdaemon veteran players that had been around forever.
It imploded at some point for whatever reason, but the 'a' in Blo[A]x stuck with me ever since, since it sure enough did improve the name.
Of course I could switch it for a "better" name, but changing pseudonyms is for losers and since I've been around sticking my head into several communities for six years now there's no point in doing so.

It always made me think of "bloat", so I figured you had been acquired by Adobe or Corel.Blox wrote:How the 'a' came in and made it Bloax is a bit more interesting, and it dates back to October 2010.

Re: Your Username
There's no real history behind the name, but it was chosen partially out of random, partially because I realized it worked sort of as a pun. Most computer languages I'm used to shorten arctangent to atan, which I realized could be read as A-tan. -tan being an alternate way to say / pronounce ( can't reminder right now ) the honorific -chan, and since I'm still a fan of anime but that whole leap of logic is not overt in the slightest, I just sort of liked it.
What does the A stand for? First letter of my name, nothing really fancy.

Interesting. I kinda figured youd pick a Roblox-esque avatar. The one you have now looks Terraria-ish.Blox wrote:No, no - that happened back in 2008.

Re: Your Username
@Arctangent: So using [Andrew] as an example: Andrew-chan = "Andrew-tan" = A-tan = atan = Arctangent ? That's actually pretty cool.
