Bwaha, death to legacy. As for serious sam, the final boss wasn't what I expected (I thought it would be something HUGE). Anyway, I couldn't get a hold of FE but i've seen upto the second boss, not the last

. Hopefully they'll hurry up with the third encounter and use the same engine.

Btw I have some questions about sam, this is no sam forum but who cares, you all seem to answer zdoom questions fine

1) What ARE those freaky big headed aliens? They're creepy. I think they're meant to be the game makers or something aren't they?

2) What was the last boss on FE? I'll probably never fight it but I have seen it as scenery in SE (As secrets)

1) Yeah, I think they are game makers, play testers etc.

Don't remember his name, but he's a big mutha. He towers above everything and has at leat 4 arms - each carrying a different and quite powerful weapon. He also breathes fire and can stamp on you.

The end fight involves you running around a large arena inside a pyramid that has opened up to receive an incoming space ship. You have to reduce the boss' health (which regenerates slowly) to a certain point (by shooting him) and then jump through 4 rings (using jump pads) to activate some sort of beam thingy. If you do this, and the enemy still has low enough health, and the beam hits him - bam, he's dead and you have won. Now that is a contrived way to kill a boss if ever there was one.

Hmm. Well the SE boss wasn't so great really. He was bloody hard with all his minions but without them he's a puff.

But then again I wasn't expecting a mage thingy. I was hoping it would be someting massive . The wind God is easyish if you have enough cannon balls and a serious bomb spare, but if not you're screwed when he dies (Cause his minions are still there! ). As for the second boss, he was easy peasy. Didn't hardly hit me at all, only those little spawns that come from him hit me. Oh well, better luck next time Croteam

EDIT: 3) Is there a secret teleporter on every level? Like the one where the embryo museum and the others, those were good to look at (Not to mention fun killing those huge FE first bosses which appeared to clobber you all day)

only 512? mine's 640, although i really didn't focus on the attack...YET.
