The "surprise" after going through the warp portal after picking up the megasphere/plasma rifle blows my mind and is amazing.

Very nice (if a bit hard).It was tense and cool.However,I understand neither how you are supposed to open the teleporter to map03,neither how you are supposed to beat it with the available resources.

map03, (and the entrance thereof), is a work in progress, and is not entirely possible. I am working on smoothing out the code for the monsters in that level, making them an accurate replication while still being possible to defeat, and the like. It should be better in the next update.(which should be out soon)
EDIT: I finally got the new hud to work properly! I'll hopefully post an updated version when I get the last two or three rooms in the second level done.

I haven't tried out the new version but so far it's good.
Also maps are a bit dark, might want to turn the brightness of the sectors up.

I've begun the final work on this, and if nothing major needs fixing, I should have a release candidate out soon.
I've added a new sky(again), as well as a new one for the secret level
i'm tweaking some of the bad/ugly parts of all the maps
and i'm struggling to find a suiting end for the second level.
this should be finished soon.and maybe a psy compatible version?
[EDIT] I've got everything just about wrapped up. I'll send something out to be play-tested, as well as some screenshots, when I get to a non-Mac.

The level design looks excellent, but the eclipse stuff looks a bit weird
